EPE’s new product launches at The Housewares Show

The EPE team has had a brilliant few days at The Housewares Show hosted by AIS in Solihull.

The show was a brilliant platform to launch lots of new products for 2020 from our brands like the Beko Power Clean Cordless Stick 2 in 1 Vacuum Cleaner to our customers.

The customers attending the show were really impressed with the Beko Power Clean and its fantastic suction power as one of the lightest and most flexible cordless vacuum cleaners launched by EPE strategic brand partners Beko to date. One of the most innovative cordless vacuum cleaners for 2020; the Beko Power Clean is perfect for providing a superior cordless cleaning experience and the high performing HEPA 10 filter helps improve the air quality making it ideal for consumers with allergies.

The customers could also really immerse themselves in a high quality coffee experience, indulging in coffee from EPE’s brand partner Melitta and the new bean to cup coffee machines that we were showcasing on stand, with National Account Manager for Melitta, David Price on hand to answer any questions and give some key insight on the Melitta brand.

Overall, it was a successful few days on stand. The EPE team will be showcasing lots of brilliant new products at more shows in the coming months and we can’t wait to share more of these products from our inspiring brands with our customers.

A message from the Sales Director: Beko Product Training at EPE HQ

Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming our strategic brand partner Beko’s training team to the EPE head office to train our sales team on their new product ranges for 2020.

It was a fantastic opportunity for the team to learn about the new products. Especially the new Beko Power Clean Cordless Stick 2 in 1 Vacuum cleaner; the most powerful cordless vacuum yet from Beko with a strong 165w of suction power and a 45 minute run time. The newest edition to Beko’s extensive floor care range is the most lightweight and most flexible yet making it it portable and easy to use. Not to mention it’s self standing feature that allows it to remain upright even when freestanding away from its docking station.

The team were very enthusiastic to be able to share their now extensive knowledge with their customers.

A message from the Sales Director: A positive meeting with Sirius & Beko

Earlier this week, I had a brilliant meeting at the Sirius Buying Group Head Office in Bristol with Steve Jones, Commercial Director for Sirius and Philip Fletcher, National Sales Manager for EPE’s strategic brand partner Beko for a yearly review.

We had an open and positive conversation on the how EPE and Beko can support the Sirius Buying Group members further this year and are excited to get those plans in to motion .

I look forward to continuing to work closely with Steve and his team in the future.

Beko Coffee Machines top the recommended list for 2020

Less than two full months into the new year and the Beko Bean to Cup CEG5301X and the Beko Espresso Machine CEP5152B have topped the list for Best Bean to Cup and Best Ground Coffee Machine on The Sun newspaper’s The Sun Selects feature articles for best coffee machines of 2020.

On the Beko Bean to Cup, CEG5301X; the author of the article highlights the machine’s ability to remember the user’s favourite drink preference for ease of use and its self cleaning feature as a excellent way to reduce the amount of maintenance to the user. Furthermore, going on to highlight its achievements as a Which? Best Buy product for 2019.

The EPE team’s dinner with strategic brand partner, Beko

Yesterday evening, the EPE team at Spring Fair had dinner with National Sales Manager for EPE’s strategic brand partner Beko; Philip Fletcher.

The dinner was a great opportunity for the team to catch up with Beko; relax after a successful day at Spring Fair and engage in lots of positive conversation on building upon the foundations of our existing partnership and looking towards our future growth together.

EPE Brand Partner Beko’s MD talks innovation, sustainability & the Cosmopolis range with ERT

EPE’s strategic brand partner Beko’s Managing Director Teresa Arbuckle sat down with ERT magazine to talk about the importance of innovation and sustainability in the future of Beko and introducing the Beko Cosmopolis breakfast range to the SDA market at the end of last year.

Teresa reflected on 2019 as a whole being a prosperous one for Beko; as they launched many new products, won several awards and launched a training programme to help educate independent retailers with product knowledge and advice to help them educate their customers.

She also spoke of highly of Beko’s new SDA range and had this to say on the launch:

“…We recently launched the Beko Cosmopolis range which has a beautiful retro look, and that’s in stores now and has been getting a lot of attention. There are some great colours and finishes, really on trend, so we’ve got high hopes for this range and we’re going to be introducing more ranges in the future too.”

Kettles and Coffee Machines; Luxury Gifts for Christmas

Christmas is on the horizons and many of our retailers are hopeful that Christmas season brings in the sales. Personal Care products tend to have the regular spot in festive gifting but have you ever considered the humble Kettle or a Coffee Machine?

Long gone are the days of basic kettles and coffee machines simply being staples in homes up and down the country. While still the most commonly bought SDAs by consumers, style factors in highly alongside functionality with these kitchen staples. “It was great to meet with Steve Jones Commercial Director for Sirius at Beko in Watford on Tuesday the 26th November.

The meeting was organised by Philip Fletcher, National Sales Manager, Beko and I to give Steve the opportunity to look at the Beko range and meet the Beko team.

It was a key meeting to build the partnership with Beko and Sirius and for me to share with all; the investment we have made in the new sales structure at EPE.

The new RSM team will enable us to visit every Sirius member on a regular basis and help them to develop and grow their business.”

Beko Launches New TV Campaign!

Our Strategic Brand Partners Beko launched a new TV laundry campaign to raise awareness for their new laundry technology Aquatech.

“Keval Shah, Head of Marketing at Beko plc UK & Ireland said; “AquaTech is the biggest launch of the year for Beko, and this is evident in the strategic marketing plan we’ve developed. We’re aiming to reach as many households as possible during peak season for laundry sales, through as many touch points as possible.”

New Floor Care Ranges From Beko.

Beko have delivered with the new range of Floor Care.

New for 2017 the new Orion stick vacuums are available in two different models.

The VRS82732VD features a Motorized Triangle brush head, 0.7 litre Anti-Static Dust-Bin, Smart sense dust-bin full indicator, Soft Grip handle, LED display showing battery indicator and a 360º Swivel-Flexi head.
This Orion vacuum also features a 32v Li-Ion battery and a 60 min runtime from a 5hr charge.

The VRS82740VF features the same basic spec as the VRS82732VD but has a 40v Li-Ion battery, and a 75 min runtime from a 5 hour charge.

Beko also bring you a Handheld Vacuum the VRT7524 which features 0.4litre dustbin, Dust seal washable MIF filter, Convenient charging and storage docking station and also comes with a 3 in 1 multifunction accessory.

With a 21.6v Li-Ion battery and a 25 min runtime this is perfect for the little jobs in life.

Beko have partnered up with EPE at the Autumn Fair

Beko and EPE have been featured on the Get Connected website.

Beko will be displaying both new and existing SDA and Floorcare ranges.

Amongst their selection of new products Beko have brought 2 new Upright cordless vacuum cleaners.
These new vacuum cleaners offer 60 and 75-minute runtimes.
Beko have also introduced a new Handheld vacuum with a 25-minute runtime.

Floorcare was not the only section of Beko’s Extensive SDA range to get new additions, Beko have also released a new blender, chopper and hand mixer.

The Traditional Range is the new Breakfast line from Beko.

Gordon Jones of Sirius visits EPE in Bradford.

Gordon Jones the chairman of the Sirius Buying Group visited EPE in Bradford.

Gordon and his development director Darren Scott came over to see the EPE showrooms to see the new ranges of SDA they have to offer.

Gordon and Darren experienced 1st hand with demonstrations and presentations. One of the brands that stood out was EPE’s new partnership with BEKO.

Gordon Jones confirmed a synergy between the Sirius MDA members and the new BEKO SDA ranges, which will be available to them.

Darren Scott and Harry Singh of EPE will be working closely with each other to enhance and develop the Sirius member’s portfolio.

EPE will be providing Sirius members with exclusive and new branded SDA lines.

All Sirius members should keep and eye out for the future exclusives and amazing deals that will be on offer.

This will be a Sirius opportunity not to be missed.
