This year, in lieu of an office secret santa, the EPE team has decided to do some good for those in need and run a collection in the office for gifts for the The Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal.
The Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal helps to ensure a child who may not otherwise receive a gift, has a present to open at Christmas.
The whole team got involved to bring in a whole host of presents, and putting them under our office Christmas tree to before they were taken to out local Salvation Army centre so they could wrap and distribute them before Christmas 🎁

This year as a thank you to show our appreciation to the EPE team for all their hard work and dedication they have put in to the business as it continues to adapt and innovate through challenging times.
We wanted to give back to the team and treat them with a Christmas hamper, full of delicious treats to share with their families and one of the fantastic Gotham Steel pans to make cooking delicious food easy for our team this Christmas!
The hampers were created by a wonderful local, small business; Chell’s Cheeky Treats, run by Michelle Halliday. Michelle and her team worked incredibly hard on creating each individual hamper by hand for our team and we are incredibly proud to be supporting such a brilliant local business.

The EPE team got out their cheesiest Christmas Jumpers and got festive for Save the Children’s annual Christmas Jumper Day!
The team really got in the spirit, with punny jumpers, light up jumpers and even the odd festive onesie. Together we raised £107.65 for the Save the Children.
We hope to continue supporting such worthy causes in the future. Keep your eyes peeled to see more ways we’ve been supporting charities this December.

The EPE team have been getting into the fundraising spirit for Children In Need 2020.
To raise money for this worthy cause EPE organised a dress down Friday throughout the company where employees swapped their work gear in favour of whatever they would like to wear for the day.
The team also took part in the Annual Children In Need Duck Race Sweepstake 2020; the competition was rife. With a 32″ TV kindly gifted by Redifussion up for grabs and the motivation to do some good for a good cause, everyone was eager to cheer on their pun-tastic duck to the finish line. Though in the end the duck known only as Quackman & Bobbin’ won the race, and Laura Anyon, Buying Assistant won the sweepstake!
In total the EPE team raised £356.13 that will go to the Children in Need charity to support disadvantaged children and young people all across the UK.

The EPE International team have taken part in some team building events this week to help raise money for the worthy charity Mind. An amazing amount of £200 was raised!
Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Mind campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Teams within the company have helped raise money taking part in activities such as virtual raffles, quizzes and competitions. Fun was had by all and more importantly money was raised.
At EPE we truly believe that mental health matters which is why we have joined in on Minds ‘do one thing’ campaign and shared a top tip sheet in our office wellbeing area to encourage our employees to share their one thing that helps improve mental health.

Our very own Angela Gray and friends battled the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge over the weekend.
The challenge itself involved a 24 mile circular trek across the iconic Yorkshire Three Peaks; Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours, with heights along the route reaching up to 1585m. Angela took on the challenge and conquered it in just under 12 hours!
Although the challenge was hard, it was very rewarding in the end! – Says Angela.
EPE are extremely proud to of supported Angela on her fearless trek and have kindly donated £500 to Macmillan Cancer Support helping the charity continue its incredible work providing physical, financial and emotional support for those affected by cancer.
Well done Angela, we are extremely proud of you!

We are super proud that our very own EPE team member, Angela Gray will be taking part in The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on Sunday.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The aim of the challenge is walk this 24 mile route within 12 hours!
EPE are delighted to be supporting Angela and will be making a donation to the well deserving charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.
